St. Kilda

We had a late flight out of Melbourne on January 2, so we spent the day exploring St. Kilda Beach during the day. There is lots to see and do there and heaps of people out during their summer holidays. We ate some excellent food, explored a pretty amazing community garden space, watched beach goers, walked down long scary piers, and explored the neighborhood.

We've posted just a few pictures from our day. We are in Sydney for a few days with some less than dependable internet but will try to post more in a few days.

Fun water sports.

Cakes! We were told there would be many delicious cakes and there were.

The community garden was spectacular.

Luna Park is an old school amusement park with a wooden roller coaster from Coney Island.
These are the kinds of birds you see just hanging out in the neighborhood.
