Public Art

We've seen a lot of art throughout the city of Melbourne. Not only are there installations everywhere, but the architecture is like works of art. I tried to take pictures of a variety of what we have seen.

1. An installation in the middle of a roundabout.
2. Um, I don’t know why or what,
but thought it was interesting.

3. Part of a large bronze sculpture
at the Queen Victoria Market.
4. Large scale wire art on a footbridge across the Yarra River.

5. More art along the Yarra River walk.

6. This is one of a series of
sculptures of Rubenesque women
near the visitor’s center.

Next stop, Warrnambool!
